Driving into this project for the first time felt like entering a moving scene. A family riding horses in the paddocks beyond a post-and-rail–lined driveway, with beautiful mature trees framing the approach as glimpses of the house gradually revealed themselves. It is a special site, paired with a beautifully considered new home.

From the outset, Nic worked closely with the clients to develop a landscape concept that was functional, responsive to budget, and seamlessly aligned with the architectural language of the house. The pool is positioned with strong visual prominence from the home, while still allowing the spaces to flow naturally into the expansive gardens and lawns beyond.

Cosy, intimate areas are created where appropriate, balanced with open spaces where the landscape needed to breathe. A truly wonderful setting, and a genuine pleasure to be involved in this project.
